My final model did a great job of following and fulfilling almost every design specification listed in the Investigation and Design phases. In this area, I will list every single one, whether the model fulfills it or not, and provide an explanation:

  1. Target Market - Yes, I believe my clock fulfills this specification because I have constructed a clock that relates to my client's passion for food and cooking. I also think the target market would approve of this clock, and hang it in their kitchen.
  2. Function - No, I believe that this specification was not completely met. The function of this clock was for the user to be able to tell the time. To some degree, this is true as the mechanism is implemented. However, I have received feedback stating that it is too difficult to tell the time, and that I should have implemented a 3, 6, 9, and 12 to ease the user's difficulty in telling the time.
  3. Materials - Yes, I believe this specification was met. I used quality materials that are durable and will last for awhile. However, the plastic eating utensils selected to be implemented into the clock were quite thin and almost cracked right away when I began to cut them. This material needs to be improved.
  4. Ergonomics (Overall Sizes) - Yes, I believe this specification was met. In the "Investigation" stage, I detailed that my clock must be 220mm x 220mm, and my clock followed this specification.
  5. Equipment/Tools Requirements - Yes, I believe my clock fulfilled this specification because I used the equipment, resources, and tools listed and researched in the "Investigation" stage.
  6. Maintenance Requirements - Yes, I believe this specification is met. The maintenance requirements are the client's and target market's responsibility because it is their job to replace the battery whenever necessary.
  7. Product Life Span & Life Cycle - Yes, I believe my clock fulfills this specification because the life span of my clock should be quite long as I have used quality, durable materials. The client should be quite happy with the clock as it should last a life time.
  8. Aesthetic Appearance (Color, Shape, Texture) - No, in my mind, this specification was met, but according to the feedback received, the aesthetic appearance is great. One person wrote on my WordWall stating that the brown color utilized for the final design was too "depressing." They recommended to use a lighter brown instead.
  9. Manufacturing Processes and Quantities - Yes, this clock was constructed and manufactured as a prototype, made entirely by hand, and without the use of any machinery.
  10. Quality Assurance - Yes, this clock fulfilled this specification. I think this because before I was finished with the "Create" stage, I assured that my final product was of high quality, as I followed the procedure made in the planning phase.
  11. Quality Control - Yes, I constantly completed quality control tests throughout the construction of my clock (final product). I can guarantee that my client and target audience is going to receive a clock of high quality.
  12. Cost - Yes, I followed the cost limit of 20 TL, and actually spent less than this. The school provided all of my requirements for resources, equipment, and tools, and I just needed to spend 5 TL on a plastic spoon, knife, and fork to be implemented into my clock design.
  13. Time Scale and Planning - Yes, I completed my clock in the time scale allotted. We were given seventeen periods for the "Create" phase and I was able to finish my clock in around fourteen. I believe that I used my time very productively.
  14. Health and Safety - Yes, my clock fulfills this specification. I believe this is because  neither my classmates nor I was harmed during the manufacturing process of the "Create" stage. I always used the materials with high accuracy and safety, and believe I have used materials that will not harm my client when he is a user of my clock.
